It's no easy task walking up and sparking a conversation with a beautiful woman. It's takes balls to stroll up and begin a dialogue with her in hopes to scoring her digits.

As you will see it will become easier when you follow this three step plan.
Don't use some type of canned material or lame ass pick up line. You need to find an entrance or what I like to call a conversation piece. It could be the shirt she is wearing or the type of drink she has in her hand. Once you find your way in, walk over and use it to spark the conversation.
You need to build rapport with her. The way to build rapport with her is to mirror her. “Mirroring" is a term which hypnotists have coined to make people feel like they are just like you or connected with you. As the conversation begins...copy her breathing patterns, the tone of her voice, the tempo of her speech and her body movements. People believe opposites attract, but in reality people are attracted to people who are just like them. As you mirror her, remind yourself you're not mimicking her movements, but just pacing her. If she leans back in her chair, you lean back in yours. If she talks fast, you talk fast. If she uses her hands when she talks, you use yours. Once she see you're just like her she will relax and allow you the conversation to flow more naturally.
Once it's flowing you want to make physical contact briefly by touching her arm. Then continue the conversation for five to ten minutes and then make an excuse to leave. Woman are attracted to men who are mysterious. As you exit....ask for her phone number or give her your phone and have her enter hers into it. Give her options to why your asking for it. Or ask her if you can have her phone number or e-mail because you would like continue the conversation over dinner or coffee or whatever reason you can make up. The more options you give her the more willingly she'll hand over her number.
This three step approach works like crazy to get a woman's number.

Maybe or maybe not....
But you can bet the more times you practice these techniques, the more adept you will be at applying them.
As you become better at using them, you will gain more and more confidence and woman will feel it as you approach them.
